$ 1.46
Description Coffee is one of the world’s most popular beverage prepared from roasted coffee beans, the seeds of berries from certain Coffee species. When coffee berries turn from green to bright red in color – indicating ripeness – they are picked, processed, and dried. Dried coffee seeds are roasted to make coffee powder. 1. About the blend Specially roasted South Indian filter‑grind coffee using 70% Arabica for aroma and smoothness and 30% Robusta for body, crema and extra caffeine kick. Designed to give a thick, intense decoction that stands up well to milk and sugar. 2. Taste & aroma Full‑bodied cup with chocolatey/nutty notes from Robusta and pleasant, rounded aroma from Arabica. Medium‑high bitterness and low acidity, ideal for classic South Indian hotel‑style coffee. 3. How to brew (filter kaapi) Add 2–3 tablespoons of coffee to the top chamber of the South Indian filter and press gently. Pour boiling water, close the lid and allow decoction to drip for 10–15 minutes. Mix 1 part decoction with 2–3 parts hot milk and sugar/jaggery to taste; pour between tumbler and davara for froth. 4. Uses & positioning Perfect for daily morning coffee with idli, dosa, appam or poha, and for serving guests who love strong kaapi. Works well in moka pot or French press if customers do not have a traditional filter. 5. Storage Store in an airtight, opaque container away from heat, light and moisture. For best flavour, finish the pack within 2–3 weeks of opening.
