Description First organized as Combat Command B in April 1942, the 2nd Brigade soldiers and their tanks were spearheaded into the action of World War II. Today, the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division is stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas, and is known as the “Iron Brigade”. It relies on heavy maneuver, including Abrams tanks and Bradley fighting vehicles. This detailed belt buckle celebrates the history of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, and can be worn proudly by members of the Iron Brigade. This belt buckle features its iconic emblems in vivid color enamel, and shows the team’s present-day M1 Abrams Tank and Bradley Fighting Vehicle in detailed high relief. The reverse features the motto “STRIKE HARD!” and includes a unique serial number. Each buckle measures 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches in size.
