Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) Porcelain Mug (DISCOUNT!)

$ 31.49

Description These are authentic WWII Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) porcelain mugs, produced during the Third Reich and originally issued for use by RAD personnel. The mugs are made from sturdy German porcelain/stoneware and were intended for daily use by members of the Reich Labour Service, for example for drinking tea or coffee in camps and barracks. All examples are clearly marked with the official Reichsarbeitsdienst emblem on the underside together with wartime manufacturer markings and production years. The offered mugs are original battlefield-recovered relics and show varying degrees of damage caused by wartime use, disposal, and decades spent underground. These are not mint-condition collector pieces. The mugs feature cracks, chips, missing sections, and repairs or stabilization where necessary. Despite the damage, the RAD markings remain clearly visible and the mugs still display very well as authentic battlefield relics. Every piece is unique in preservation, damage pattern, and appearance, giving each mug its own character and history. The product photos give a general indication of the type and condition you can expect, but each individual mug will vary slightly. Some examples are more complete than others, while certain mugs may retain clearer markings or handles. Due to the visible battlefield damage and missing sections, these original RAD mugs are offered at a discounted collector price. Even with the damage, they remain impressive display pieces with strong historical character and clearly recognizable wartime markings. Original RAD porcelain is becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially marked examples with recognizable display value. These mugs offer a fascinating glimpse into the everyday life of Reichsarbeitsdienst personnel during the pre-war and early WWII years.
